AJ Professional Detailing, LLC (“AJ’s,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy applies to all individuals who contact AJ Professional Detailing, LLC through our published business phone number, our text messaging service, or in person at our shop at 702 Coleman Avenue, San Jose, California.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information we need to identify you, service your vehicle, and communicate with you about your appointment. Specifically:
- Contact information — your first and last name, your phone number, and (if you provide one) your email address.
- Vehicle information — the year, make, model, size, and any condition notes or concerns you describe.
- Appointment information — the service you selected, the drop-off and pickup times, and the date of service.
- Call and text records — audio recordings or written transcripts of phone calls you place to our business, and the content of text messages exchanged with our business number. We use these records to provide service, confirm appointments, and improve the quality of our customer care.
- Vehicle photos — if you send us a photo of your vehicle by text, we store the photo temporarily so we can identify the make, model, and size. We do not publish or share photos you send us.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government identification numbers, or payment card information through our phone or text system. Payment for services is handled separately at the shop.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect only to:
- Identify your vehicle and quote the correct service price.
- Schedule, confirm, and remind you of your appointment.
- Send you a text message asking you to reply with a photo of your car, if you cannot identify it during our call.
- Send you a text confirming your appointment after it is booked.
- Send you a short series of check-in texts if you expressed interest in a service but did not book during our call.
- Answer your follow-up questions about an existing or upcoming appointment.
- Maintain accurate business records of services performed.
- Improve our customer care by reviewing call transcripts and identifying common questions or issues.
4. Text Messaging (SMS) Consent
We only send text messages to phone numbers that placed an inbound phone call to our business and verbally agreed during that call to receive a text. We do not purchase contact lists, we do not cold-text anyone, and we do not share your number with third parties for their own marketing.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, or OPT OUT to any text from our business number. Once you opt out, we will not send you any further text messages, and any active follow-up sequence for your number will be cancelled immediately.

5. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers who help us operate our business. This includes our telephone and text messaging provider (Twilio), our scheduling and customer management software (Urable), and our voice assistant provider (ElevenLabs). These providers only receive the information they need to perform their service and are contractually obligated to protect it.
- When required by law. We will disclose information if required by a valid court order, subpoena, or other legal process.
- To protect our rights. We may disclose information to protect the safety, rights, or property of AJ Professional Detailing, LLC, our employees, or our customers.
6. How We Store and Protect Your Information
We store your information securely on business systems protected by password, encryption in transit, and access controls. Only authorized AJ Professional Detailing employees and contractors who need access to serve you can view your records. We retain your information for as long as needed to provide services and for reasonable business recordkeeping, after which we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your Choices
- Opt out of text messages. Reply STOP to any text from our business number, or call us and ask to be removed.
- Request deletion of your records. Call us at (408) 947-1111 or email us (see below) and ask us to delete your contact and vehicle records. We will honor deletion requests promptly, unless we are required by law to retain certain records.
- Correct your information. If any information we have about you is incorrect, call or text us and we will update it.
8. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request that we delete it, and to opt out of any sale of your personal information. 9. Children’s Privacy
Our services are directed at adults who own or are responsible for a vehicle. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when it was last updated. Significant changes will be communicated through our published business channels.
