1. Program Description

The AJ Professional Detailing Customer Care messaging program sends text messages to customers who have placed an inbound phone call to our business and verbally agreed during that call to receive a text. We use text messages to:

  • Ask you to reply with a photo of your vehicle when you cannot identify its year, make, or model during a phone call.
  • Confirm the details of an appointment you booked during our phone call (service, drop-off time, pickup time, and shop address).
  • Send a short series of check-in messages if you expressed interest in a service during our phone call but did not complete a booking.
  • Reply to questions you send us about an existing or upcoming appointment.

2. How You Opt In

You opt in to this program by calling AJ Professional Detailing, LLC at our published business number and verbally agreeing, during the call, that we may send you a text message. We do not send text messages to any phone number that has not first called our business. We do not purchase contact lists and we do not cold-text anyone.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. A typical customer will receive:

  • Up to one text message during or immediately after their call to request a vehicle photo.
  • One text message confirming a booked appointment.
  • Up to three check-in text messages over a 72-hour period if a booking was not completed during the call.
  • Reply messages in response to any question you send us.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages at your plan’s standard rates. Contact your mobile carrier if you have questions about your plan’s rates.

4. How to Opt Out — STOP

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to our business number. We also honor the following opt-out keywords: UNSUBSCRIBECANCELQUIT, and OPT OUT.

After you send one of these keywords, you will stop receiving messages from us. Any active follow-up sequence for your phone number will be cancelled immediately. You will not be sent further messages unless you re-start the service by calling us and verbally agreeing to receive texts again.

5. How to Get Help — HELP

If you need help with the SMS program at any time, text HELP to our business number and you will receive a reply with our business name, support phone number, and a reminder of how to opt out. You can also call us directly at (408) 947-1111 between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM Pacific, Monday through Saturday.

6. Supported Carriers

This program is compatible with all major US mobile carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Sprint, Boost, Virgin Mobile, MetroPCS, Alltel, Cricket, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Information you share with us as part of this program is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes, we do not sell your information, and we do not use your information for any purpose other than serving you.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our program or applicable law. The effective date above tells you when they were last updated. By continuing to participate in the program after changes are posted, you agree to the updated terms.
